Women have changed their behavior over years; this includes their dress code, and facial appearance. During the 20th century women had a certain dress code which came due to that religion or culture e.g. a young Xhosa maiden draped with a blanket of a favorite ochre color, and a elaborately beaded gorget.
Her armbands are of copper and, weaved grasses and beads. A tribal elder warmly wrapped in his blanket daubed his face with white clay. A married woman wears a typical wrap skirt and cloak. The beaded bag is for her smoking accessories. Only married women are permitted to smoke. Rights for women were poor and in some workplaces, they rarely existed. Instead, it was their duty to remain at home and do basic housework as opposed to generating an income. Change came in the form of World War 1, when many jobs were needed to be filled after the men were sent to fight. Once the war finished, many women were unwilling to give up their new-found independence and fought for their right to remain in the workplace.
This has been distorted over new era, women wear cloths that suit their comfort or mood, some show parts of their bodies they can. This has not been the only concern about women changing with time, women had rights and their views were more valued. In the late 90’s women were independent started working and owning their lives. today women have lost their value and no longer give good representative of what a women can do , our common label is being cheap, we do not rate our bodies. If you compare most girls now to those of previous years they are worth more than we are now, all we know is to make up and break up. Women are now more accepted into the workplace as people have been able to overcome their discrimination based on gender. This has enabled women to achieve basically any job they want. In the past, this was not so, and everyone is entitled to do anything at their comfort for as long it doesn’t cross ways with the constitution.
What occurred to the dignity of women, why are we allowing time change our morals, should we endure like this? Can’t you see men are treating us like possessions they somehow own? Why do we let ourselves be so defenseless, why should we fault man for our own mistakes? Are we that desperate?
I do not understand we talk about rights, the same rights that we go about violating, yet we scream rape and abuse. We talk more and do less
We have privileges, let’s make use of them appropriately, and let’s adjust the image that is already out there portraying women.
This is for us young ladies, particularly if you are religious fixed, let you not be in the midst of sluts nor bitches, but i trust culture will make you a better somebody, it doesn't matter who you are or where you from you are no superior than the person next to you. Hunting after things that won’t last for the next three years but will affect you for the rest of your life won’t grow you any stronger or bigger, its only degrading not only you but the rest of us as well.
Wait for your chance, God has plans for all of us. Do not wonder patience is sometimes vital. Many of you out there have been involved in things that are no good, but have changed from those, they say the best teacher is experience but if one person has gone through something and your aware of it, why should you repeat the same thing. I know we are not fools, so let’s not make the game any harder
